Code, Create, Repeat: How WPP is Turning Prompts into Prototypes

WPP is doubling down on AI via an expanded partnership with Vercel, bringing next-gen development tools like v0 and AI SDK into the fold. These tools allow teams to move from text prompt to working prototype in record time. At the heart of it all is “vibe coding,” a natural language-driven workflow that flattens the learning curve and brings non-coders into the game.

Early signs are promising: WPP’s trials and a global hackathon suggest up to a 25% bump in development efficiency, especially on React and Next.js projects. This kind of time savings lets teams focus less on writing boilerplate code and more on crafting stronger consumer-centric narratives and designs. By integrating Vercel into WPP Open, the company’s AI-powered marketing platform, even more synergy is expected between creative concepting and execution.

The collaboration also positions WPP to get a front-row seat to Vercel’s product roadmap and co-invest in new technologies. As the CTOs of both companies put it, the new tools won’t just speed things up—they’ll tear down the silos between creative and technical teams. Teams can ship ideas, not just pitch decks.
